"Insurance Associates has built one of the largest retail insurance businesses in the state over the past 25 years, made possible by our Simpson County staff and support of the community. I can't think of another business environment that would have fostered the success we've had here."

Danny Moseley, President and Co-Owner,

Insurance Associates

“Polk's Meat Products, Inc. has been a corporate resident of Magee, Simpson County, Mississippi, since June of 2000. Our decision to move our plant and headquarters facility to Magee was one of the best decisions I have ever made as CEO. Not only did the city and county offer all the incentives and assistance we needed to make this decision, I have been most impressed with their "service after the sale". I hear from economic development, government, and community leaders on a regular basis. All of them are interested in how we are doing, and what they might do to assist us in growing our business. This shows farsighted planning for the future, and will insure our company's growth in Simpson County for a very long time.”

- John Polk, CEO

Polk’s Meat Products, Inc.

“The quality of all of our lives depends upon the success or failure of public education to effectively equip our children with the knowledge, skills, independence, and self-confidence necessary to succeed in the future. The Simpson County Technical Center’s mission is to effectively educate students who will exit the educational system as a worker with the appropriate level of work entry skills and work ethics needed to support the foundation of American society.”

- Dr. Kay Berry, Director,

Simpson County Technical Center

“Priority One Bank has locations in five area counties; however Simpson County is where our main office is located. The workforce, central location, diversified economy, highway system, healthcare facilities, educational opportunities and most of all the "can do" spirit of Simpson Countians are but a few of the many reasons we call Simpson County home. We continue to expand our business here in numerous ways and believe others should strongly consider all the positive reasons why Simpson County is a premiere location with unlimited potential.”
